In Year 2, I built upon the foundations that were laid down in first year. Modules included Research, Business Management, Advanced Management in Practice, Business Development and Entrepreneurship and Project Management.
Sports Centre Management Report
For this project, I was tasked with designing a report for a local leisure centre. This involved an internal and external analysis of opportunities and threats, and strengths and weaknesses - these were then used to inform financial and strategic recommendations to improve the performance of the centre
Grant Application
Within this assignment, I was tasked in applying for a government grant on behalf of local charity Sporting Communities, to fund a sporting initiative I had designed, called AquaBAME. This included research on specific groups within society, whilst considering financial planning and implementation.
